Orient, Late Fall - Oil on canvas board 11" x 14"

Note from MaryEllen, the artist: I’ve been obsessed with this little clam shack in Orient, NY for decades. I’ve seen it countless times since the 1980s as I’d pass coming from and going to the Cross Sound Ferry to New England. I particularly love that the owner puts a Christmas wreath on the front door every year. This view is from late November and I enjoyed doing it so much that I’m thinking of doing a series of four, one for each season. This original oil painting on canvas board measures 11’x14” and is framed with a gold, classic plein air frame (added another 2” or so to overall measurement).
