Notes from the artist: I don’t know if anyone calls Hydrangeas “snowballs” anymore but this painting speaks to why that nickname evolved. My husband gave me this beautiful bouquet and I felt compelled to paint them. This piece comes with a silver plein air frame that adds a little more than 2” all around to this 8x10 oil on canvas painting.
